tsExpress

A skeleton for a typescript express app in Node.JS

Prerequisites

• node and npm up and running
• typescript installed

npm install -g typescript

• [Optional] Visual Studio Code the project include .vscode folder with a simple launch.json configuration in visual studio code. If you choose any other IDE, you may delete this folder.

Note: (1) Open visual studio code (2) Click cmd+⇧+p (3) Type "code" (4) Choose "install code command in PATH" (5) Now you can open Visual studio code from the termial by typing "code ."

Setup

• clone the project

git clone [email protected]:udidg/tsExpress.git
cd tsExpress/

• Install dependencies

npm install

• Open visual studio code

code .

• Compile

cmd+⇧+b
choose: tsc build - tsconfig.json
