Just figured that there's no easy way to update location name for multiple locations. Let's say, all locations are created with area, floor, office number and accounting number in it: North-2FL-223-4B9W. That department moves to floor, so that particular location becomes North-7FL-223-4B9W (accounting number doesn't change). Minor change in naming, but if multiplied by 100 - lots of manual labour renaming your old locations one by one. (Preparing CSV file with Excel would need less typing and clicking.)

Would it be possible to add ID column into Snipe-IT importer tool and use it for matching locations in import file and database? I may be terribly wrong, but currently matching is done by location name column and that works only if you are changing location details, but not the name itself. If names doesn't match - new location will be created. I believe that 'Update by ID' might be useful when updating other data to Snipe-IT (assets, models, etc.).
