With this option the user can exclude any file from the ProGuard input.

This looks good.

Did you test it on Windows or Mac OS X ?

Can you make a sample project to test on the other platform as I think that could be a possible problem so we need to make sure it works on all platforms.

Yep, i still use Windows... I just tested this on Ubuntu, works as expected. You have to use forward slashes on both platforms, eg. META-INF/LICENSE.txt.
