- Switch using pyright instead of mypy (see difference here)
- Make sure to install extension: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=ms-pyright.pyright
- Note: type errors / missing type annotation are not currently blocking to give time to fix the full codebase in a future PR. This will lint only.
