Problem with WebDAV version #1212

Dear all,

I have now twice experienced the following problem with Simpletask on an Android 11 device.

I open the app and after a few seconds the app attempts to synchronize. It comes back with "Unable to synchronize Todo.txt".

This result remains the case, even though internet access is normal; even though I stopped & restarted the app and even after rebooting the phone.

I then tried to just reload the todo.txt from the nextcloud-server, but since I had modified the local file on the device, the app won't let me.

I then thought I would log out of the Webdav account and log in again, but unfortunately the app does not retain the Webdav credentials; whenI logged out they were gone.

I have now switched back to synching with Dropbox, where this has (up to now) never happened; (but that means I need a Dropbox client for Sleek on my desktop machines which I do not really want) any idea what the problem could be here?

Kind regards,
Oliver.

It would be helpful if you could share the log from the settings.

In the log I can see that Simpletask thinks it's not authenticated to WebDAV. It would be useful if you could login again and then show the log when it's unable to synchronize.

I do not think that will help.
I can go and create a new OTP but then the Webdav-version will probably work perfectly again, as it did the last 3 months. The behaviour is not deterministic; I have no idea how to produce the effect.
But if I am the only one encountering this error then perhaps it isn't that important. I have switched to the Dropbox version which so far has worked without a hitch; so maybe we can just keep this in mind for future reference.
Cheers,
Oliver.
