Airport Gate Assignment Problem (AGAP)

Project developed for the PhD subject of Optimization of Transports Infrastructures and Operations. Reproduction of Optimization of multiple objective gate assignments, Shangyao Yan and Cheun-Ming Huo.

Gate assignment is done under two objective functions: Passenger Walking Distance and Passenger Waiting Time.

An airport layout is randomly generated, as well as flights. Then the optimization problem is created and solved in order to assign a gate to a flight.
