lilFM (short for “li’l Fan-Made” or “liledix4 Fan-Made”) – a GitHub organization not only to keep personal repositories clean from the commercial media, but also to provide space for other fans to share their creativity with the world!
This GitHub organization is hosted by liledix4. Everyone can make their contributions absolutely freely. Forks are very welcome!
- This GitHub organization only accepts projects explicitly based on already known media, including small projects with little publicity (such as Zombie Hive).
- If the project has the potential for high recognition, it would be better to consider a separate GitHub organization instead of putting repositories in the lilFM organization.
- Bombs vs. Sleepwalkers – despite regular references to popular media and being clearly inspired by popular works, this project is considered original. Additionally, it’s a separate GitHub organization, because in terms of recognizability, this project is considered too big for lilFM.
- Doki Doki Literature Club! New Heading – separate GitHub organization, because in terms of recognizability, this project is considered too big for lilFM.
Each repository in this organization is created solely for entertainment, educational, and research purposes.
Because repositories may often use already licensed content, or repositories may use titles or references to already licensed media, the use of our code for any commercial purpose is strictly prohibited.
We are aware that code can be used for unscrupulous purposes (particularly scamming and fraud), so we try to choose licenses that prohibit commercial use and strictly require public availability of source code for projects derived from our source code.
Our projects cannot be called purely open-source because the licenses restrict commercial use. It’s more correct to call our projects “source-available”.
