LocationMapService

A location map service that uses Google Map to display large quantaties of annotations and group dense areas into heatmaps.

The library gives the user an easy interface to put and take annotations into the map.

Installation

To get the Git project into your build:

Step 1. Add the JitPack repository to your build file

Step 2. Add the dependencies for this Git and com.google.android.gms:play-services-maps:15.0.1

Step 3. Add Google maps API key in manifest.

• Gradle

1. Add JitPack in your root build.gradle at the end of repositories

allprojects {
  repositories {
    ...
    maven { url 'https://jitpack.io' }
  }
}

2. Add the dependency in the app gradle

dependencies {
  implementation 'com.google.android.gms:play-services-maps:15.0.1'
  implementation 'com.github.lam-amsiq:LocationMapService:1.1.2'
}

1. Add the JitPack repository to your build file

2. Add the dependency

1. Add JitPack in your build.sbt at the end of resolvers

2. Add the dependency

• Leiningen

1. Add JitPack in your project.clj at the end of repositories

:repositories [["jitpack" "https://jitpack.io"]]

2. Add the dependency

:dependencies [[com.github.lam-amsiq/LocationMapService "1.1.2"]]

3. Add API key for Google Maps in the manifest

To get the API key follow the steps from https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/android/start#get-key

Once you have your key (it starts with "AIza"), create the "google_maps_key" string resorce with the key value.
