Example Usage

There is a simple service that sends out heartbeats to subscribers. There are implementations using both the modified novarpc (novamess) and the custom thing based on kombu (mess).

1. Make a virtualenv and activate it

2. Install dependencies:

   $ pip install kombu gevent
   

3. Run one of the heartbeater services:

   $ python nova_heartbeater.py
   # OR
   $ python mess_heartbeater.py
   

4. In another terminal, start the appropriate subscriber:

   $ python nova_subscriber.py
   # OR
   $ python mess_subscriber.py
