I'll update the Manual with the alternative wiring. It's sad that the BLTouch 2-Pin connector does not fit out of the box, so you need to swap the connector from 3 pin to 3 pin so it fits on G1-G2-G3.

Thank you! Uhm... the Mega X will get an updated version (1.1.4) at the end of the day. I still need to figure out what Acceleration-Settings I can use. It's a bit hard to do when you don't have a Mega X at home ;) |
cool. i’ll check it out. happy to run any tests you need to validate settings.

hey mate, i’ve got 1.1.3 going, haven’t really started printing yet, still going through calibration. I’ve also added your project on thingyverse as a remix to my remixed mk4 x-carriage for Mega-X. also, regarding the bl touch wiring, the G1-3 pins are a bit closer together than the standard dupont cables, so i’ve used single pins and swapped the two pin plug for two single plugs that I took from the extension cable that came in the kit.[Image.jpeg]

it will probably fit a 3-pin JST plug ... as the G2 pin is 12v, i have considered using this to wire in a small LED strip, so might change it out and make a splitter cable with a 3 pin JST on the board that allows me to share the GND with the LED and BLtouch

solder a bridge between the H3 and H4 pads, solder pins to G1 and G3 instead of to the bottom of B5 and B6. I have found this to be a much cleaner install.
