Getting a ECONNREFUSED public.ip.addr:443, did I configure something wrong?

I am having trouble connecting to the document server from my nextcloud.
I have the nextcloud integration app and when trying to open a document the onlyoffice app starts loading but then says

"The document could not be saved. Please check connection settings or contact your administrator.When you click the ok button, you will be prompted to download the document"

this is the log i am getting in docservice/out.log, I only replaced the domain information in the error: url part and removed the json webtokens and changed the ip address of the ECONNREFUSED error.

the weird thing is it works sometimes. but I cannot pin exactly why and when.

I think it was a networking issue. I changed in reverse proxy from localhost to 127.0.0.1 and now it seems to work.
