We released a new version of our app today, but didn't change any Spotify-related code or settings. Now users are getting the Code=-1000 / "Connection attempt failed." / com.spotify.app-remote.transport Code=-2000 "Stream error." / Domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain Code=61 "Connection refused" message common to auth errors.
And of course it's working perfectly for me (making sure I have the latest app store versions of Spotify and the app) %-)
We have a button "open Spotify app" in our prefs, and it's taking users to the App Store instead of the app. Having users say "open app" from the app store sheet does open the spotify app, but subsequent opens still show that sheet.
We've had users delete and reinstall spotify, delete and reinstall our app, restart the device, tap "open" from the app store sheet. We haven't started asking for blood sacrifices yet, but that's coming up soon on our support script.
Anyone else currently seeing this? Or does this sound like a familiar "holding it wrong"?
TIA
