An option to skip pre-processing

I've noticed that with millions of files across many disks pre-processing takes several days and the actual scan only takes an hour or two at most (and only less than 1 percent of files were filtered out by the pre-processing).

It would be convenient to have an option that skips pre-processing for certain kinds of workloads like this.
