Custom keybindings

I like Ranger but have big troubles with the hardcoded keybindings in ranger.el.
Is it possible to set custom keybindings ?

I second to that! I do use the regular ranger in the terminal and had to change a bunch of keys.

I stopped using ranger.el because I use my own keybindings voor Ranger in a terminal and couldn't get used to the ranger.el keybindings. I can change the keybindings in ranger.el but don't want to do this again & again after each update/upgrade, nor memorizing 2 different sets of ranger-keybindings.
