Describe the bug

When adding a public link a password is shown in plain text immediately, you have to click on "options" first to be able to change the permissions & password. When clicking the "generate password" button the password is shown in plain text even if it was hidden before

Steps to reproduce

  1. Select any file
  2. Click on share icon
  3. Click on "Add link" in the context menu on the right side
  4. Click on options
  5. Click on generate password

Expected behavior

According to @dj4oC

  • after Step 3 (clicking on "Add link") you should immediately see the view for changing the permissions (can view / can edit), changing the password and adding an expiration date, so step 4 (clicking on options) is not needed
  • Clicking on "generate password" should not result in the password to be shown in plain text

Actual behavior

  • User has to click on "options" to be able to change permissions, change password & set expiration date
  • Clicking on "Generate Password" results in the password being displayed in plain text
