Recent releases of GitHub Copilot have started crashing on PyCharm Professional edition.
PyCharm details:
Other JetBrains products might have Java file syntax highlighting, but PyCharm won't even offer that as a downloadable language.

However, PyCharm doesn't provide an ability to state "use stable" or "use nightly" for the plugin that I can find.
