Expected Behavior

Conditions:
Not in studio mode
Switching between two scenes, one with a default transition and one with a fade-to-color scene transition override that is different than the default.

Expected Outcome:
Program view should continue to change scenes, even though the transitions may be interrupted.

Current Behavior

Log reports user switched scenes, but the content of program view does not change. It stays the same even when switching back and forth multiple times. The condition occurs, but may not be limited to a fade-to-color transitions transition override. It seems to be triggered by swicthing scenes rapidly (perhaps before the ftc transition completes). But it's also been triggered simply by going into the scene transitions override dialog. Thereafter, the program scene is "locked": no scene changes appear in the program view desipte the log reporting that the user has changed scenes.

Peculiarly, switching to studio mode and back clears the condition.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Add two scenes that can be visually distinguished in program view window.
  2. Add a scene transition override with a several second duration to one of them. The scene transition override must be different from the default transition and only one scene has the transition override.
  3. Turn off studio mode
  4. Switch scenes back and forth, waiting for each transition to complete
  5. All is OK
  6. Now, switch scenes back and forth without waiting for the transition to end
  7. Program view window is now frozen. Log still reports scene changes, but they are not apparent in the program view window. Nor do scene changes appear in recording.
  8. Switch studio mode on, then off
  9. Normal scene changing is restored

Note also, that after condition occurs, the default scene transition turns gray and cannot be changed
