I am using the cloudless version of simpletask and can't find a way to use my todo file that is on my micro sdcard. I use the "Open task list file" button from the top right menu and from there I can't navigate to my sdcard. The "Open task list file" dialog starts in "/storage/emulated/0/Documents/todo" which is where I was initially keeping my file but I would very much like to find a way to move it to my sdcard. I apologize if this has already been asked before but I couldn't find anyone with this specific issue.

Honestly I gave up with using external storage on Android, they really made it a PITA, you could try giving Simpletask full access to your storage in the phone settings.
That's fair about giving up on external storage. They really have done a good job messing everything up from what I know. Unfortunately I have already given it full storage access and no change. I might do some research and see if I can work something out. I have some programming experience so I'm not completely lost it's just much more of an undertaking than I've ever done before, but I could use the challenge.
