Better Navigation in Remote Explorer

Vs Code Remote Explorer tab could be improved 🙏

For example, once I open Remote repository on GitHub or Azure Repos, I can't easily share a link to it with other team members.

Even when I see remote repo in Remote Repositories tab, there is no option to share a link to it 🤷‍♂️

Currently, Right-Click gives options:

• Open Workspace in Current Window
• Open Workspace in New Window
• Remove

However, I would expect there to be an additional option to share this remote Repo path, something like:

• Copy Remote Repo Path

Then, with that path, I would expect to be able to do something like:
Launch a different instance of Vs Code
File > Open Folder > paste Remote Repo Path
And Vs Code would be able to open it! 🚀🏄‍♂️

There will be a Copy vscode.dev Link action in the remote explorer for remote repositories beginning with Monday's insiders.vscode.dev. Note that VS Code doesn't support opening vscode-vfs URIs so that would be a larger feature request if you specifically wanted to open directly on desktop.

I'm not seeing this action:

Latest VS Code insiders, latest pre-release of Remote Repositories and GitHub Repositories.
