I tried to run an rails app with compilation, which seems to work fine, but if i remove the original *.rb files,
i will get uninitialized constant errors?

Will that be possible in the future or is that impossible (by design)?

My intention is to ship an application just with the bytecode and without the original source.

It does work though, when the file is empty. Just the class definition is required.

However, require original file because it checks time stamp.

This spec is to keep compatibility with existing source such as File.read(File.join(__dir__, 'foo.data')) and so on.
