When content from my Jellyfin instance is played by the Swiftfin client on my AppleTV, it only shows in the Dashboard as active for 10 minutes. Without fail every single time, whether it's a Movie or TV, I have 2 entries in my Dashboard - "Account has started playing XXXXXXX on AppleTV" and then 10 minutes later "Account has finished playing XXXXXXX on AppleTV".
The AppleTV disappears from the Active Devices area, and I no longer see the activity in the Jellyfin widget on my Homepage dashboard. The content continues to play fine on the device itself.
In the logs, I think this is the entry that corresponds to the activity "stopping" -
[TimeStamp -05:00] [INF] [54] Emby.Server.Implementations.Session.SessionManager: Playback stopped reported by app "Jellyfin tvOS" "1.0.1" playing "XXXXXXX". Stopped at "570000" ms
It's possible it's an issue with the Swiftfin client, but I've been running Swiftfin as my my primary client since the day it was more widely available - December '22 I think - and this has only recently started happening.
I can dig into more details, app/client/server versions etc, if it would help but I'm more curious if anyone else has seen anything like this?
I fired up a second AppleTV, and it shows the same behavior, 10 minutes after starting it says it's finished.
Some other information that may or may not be useful. I'm running Jellyfin 10.8.12 via Docker on Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS. The issue is occurring on an Apple TV HD running tvOS 16.6 and an Apple TV 4k running tvOS 16.6. Both are running the latest Swiftfin client - 1.0.1 I think? iPhones, iPads, web browsers (Apple, Windows, Chrome, Safari, Edge) and Roku devices, both remote (WAN) and local (LAN) are working fine and not exhibiting the issue.
Issue #796 and Issue #844 were related to this and inadvertently closed.
