Native player doesn’t work #851
Comments
Are you also enabling fMP4? I've found that these two settings often have to be enabled in tandem as Apple's native player is less robust in terms of the formats that it will accept. |
It plays now but i can’t change the audio track or display captions |
I think that's unfortunately just a limitation of the current implementation of the Native Player. I know there's an issue out for audio selection but I think the fMP4 drops all non-default subtitles and audio. I have confidence this will be resolved/MPV will be implemented as Swiftfin leaves Alpha though! |
Is there a way I can use the latest version of swiftin on Apple TV? The last update in the App Store was in march |
I’m facing the same issue. Even if I enable both I can’t watch anything. |
Facing this as well on the HD Apple TV. I get either infinite loading without the native player or a 🚫 using the native player. It used to work previously. Currently it's only working on my 4K Apple TV. |
