I have 2 devices that have no links between them. Not Bluetooth, not Wi-Fi, nothing. Everything I have is sound.

Why can't I send the file with sound? Why do I need LAN?

@seacat17 Once I did something similar to send files, but couldn't test it because had only 1 pc. It was based on ggwave python library, and it sent files chunk by chunk, and the other computer replied like "hey, I didn't hear 3rd and 7th chunk, can you repeat them?". And it repeated untill all heard.

I think this one could do the job. Fragmented file transmission with error correction on demand. Sounds neat.
