swimming mechanics might be non-trivial, this would be open for further investigation
not be considered opaque for occlusion checking (we currently do that for performance reasons)
perhaps we could merge adjacent liquid blocks along a strip or even within a chunk (once/if we do Add chunk-based world generation (and storage?) #11) to improve performance while retaining the 'correct' semantics?
