Fleet version: latest version of main (4.65.0)
Web browser and operating system: n/a

💥  Actual behavior

500 error is shown

🧑‍💻  Steps to reproduce

  1. Start with a fleet instance that had policies set up in a previous version of Fleet
  2. Enroll a host into fleet, installing fleet desktop
  3. Open fleet desktop (My device page) and click on one of the policies

🕯️ More info (optional)

Note: newly created policies show the modal as expected, this is happening for old policies, and policies added with ./build/fleetctl apply -f docs/01-Using-Fleet/standard-query-library/standard-query-library.yml

@jmwatts can you say a bit more about what happens when you click on one of the policies with the issue? Can you post a screenshot or a video?

Update -- Zoomed with Janis and discovered that this has to do with the sanitize call on the policy resolution text; digging in.
