Crowbar is opensource for a reason. If you find a problem and have a fix, or want to propose a cool new feature.. read on.
Crowbar 2.0 is under heavy development and design. Join in! See Crowbar 2.0
Before you spend too much time on a problem, or a new feature - drop a line to the mailing list - Crowbar AT dell.com or check the archives here: https://lists.us.dell.com/mailman/listinfo/crowbar.
We're currently using the github fork/pull mechanism to add contributions. The general process would be:
- Creating a fork: http://help.github.com/fork-a-repo/
- Setup and usage information about Git: http://help.github.com/win-set-up-git/
- Once you're happy with your changes, push them to github, and then
- Create a pull request: http://help.github.com/send-pull-requests/
Why no public bug traker (yet)? We at Dell are working on getting the community tied into our whole dev process. Please post your bugs to the mailing list, and we'll be sure to respond ASAP. Our team is growing!
