Empty MIDI clips are by default 1 bar long. This doesn't happen when clearing notes. Example below.

We prefer it not to default to being 1 bar, or is it the other way around?

The clip dynamically resizes to adjust to the notes in the clip. When no notes are in the clip, it should be as small as possible, which is 1 bar.
