Bring the buddy program back

During the team-wide meeting, we discussed the option of bringing back the buddy programme.

@CatarinaSilva mentioned:

• Might be tricky to balance the load with volunteers inside the Academy - so we'd need to implement it in an efficient way

@minhhoang1023's suggestion:

• Have an instructor helping with 4-5 people. This forms a study group and helps people to know each other. Instructors can create a Slack group between this group, so we can reduce the load for instructors of having to reach out to multiple people at the same time.
• with the buddy program, we can assign those instructors to take care of getting feedback once people drop out

Action item:

• Need to think about what being a “buddy” entails
• The time it takes
• The effort
